VUCIC: We will ask the Chinese to take over MSC Bor

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced that he was attending the Riga summit, where he was to have the longest bilateral meeting with the prime minister of China and added that he would ask him to have the best known Chinese company take over MSC Bor.

– This can't go on – Vucic said to the press.

As he said, without specifying the name, this is the largest Chinese company. He added that Serbia had a big problem with MSC Bor, whose workers earned salaries thanks to citizens of Serbia.

– The company owns 40% of the world copper market. I only know that this is the largest Chinese company, that their annual revenues amount to two billion and that they employ 200,000 people – he explained.

The problem with MSC Bor will have to be solved in the next six months, the prime minister said, as per the agreement with the IMF.
