Water supply system for Montenegrin Seaside prior to end of year 2009

- Construction of the regional water supply system for the Montenegrin Seaside, which is often called "the project of decade", should be completed by the end of the next year - said the President of the Administrative Board of regional water supply system Miodrag Pejović.

- In the first quarter of year 2010, final setting of regulation, testing of equipment and complete pipeline system will be carried out, and that will be followed by putting of the water supply system into operation. Thus, Montenegrin seaside will get the sufficient quantity of water of exceptional quality - said Pejović.

According to the project, 1,500 l of water per second will be pumped from spring "Bolje sestre" on Skadar lake.

Pejović is certain that the greatest guarantee that this infrastructural facility will be realized in a quality way is the unique and active support from the Government of Montenegro.

- We had great support from the seaside municipalities during the preparations for realization of this project, and we will have that support during the realization, which is also a great guarantee that this significant project will be implemented before the deadline - said Pejović.
