"Fontana" hotel sold for 410 million CSD

"Fontana" hotel in Vrnjačka Banja has been sold in the premises of the Privatization Agency for 410 million CSD. The buyer is a consortium made of businessmen led by Slobodan Talčinac, who bought the company through the agents. It is being speculated that the real owner of "Fontana" will be Dušan Dunjić, who bought some companies in privatization process and he is also mentioned to be the owner of "Jezero" hotel in Vrnjačka Banja. However, the Privatization Agency denies that, saying that Dunjić is not on the list of the members of consortium that bought "Fontana".

Slavenko Grgurović, the president of the League for Private Property Protection, protested against the auction for sale of the aforementioned catering company and warned that the sale was illegal because one part of that facilities within that company had been sold as the property of the State, although the property was nationalized.
