Pancevo’s Petrohemija continues operating following overhaul

The Chemical Industry of Pancevo (Hemijska Industrija Pancevo – HIP) announced on Friday, October 21, that it had restarted the production, following a two-week halt due to equipment overhaul in the ethylene factory.

– All the petrochemical factories are now stable and are working according to the operating production plan – the announcement says.

As stated, the continuation of production in HIP was carried out with full adherence to prescribed safety measures and in line with the company’s procedures and working conditions and environmental quality standards.

The halt in the production was used for the repair, cleaning and overhaul of processing equipment, and the production was also halted in the high density polyethylene factory (PEVG) and the low density polyethylene factory (PENG).
