Austria's Z-line Car Interior opening car seat cover facility in Mionica

The Austrian company Z-line Car interior intends to open a factory for the production of car seat covers in Mionica and employ 200 people there, the local authorities report.

In cooperation with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Austrian investor, the final negotiations on this investment regarding the location and the premises for the production facility are in progress.

Representative of the company Karl Klobassa said that the Mionica facility would be their third investment in Southeast Europe, and, according to Boban Jankovic, president of the municipality of Mionica, the employment of 200 textile workers is planned in the first year of operations.

A large number of textile workers who lost their jobs following the privatization of the former sowing factory Mladost in Mionica are registered at the National Employment Service.
