Serbian 3x3 basketball players world champions – Americans beaten in the final

The Serbian 3x3 basketball team have become champions of the world after winning against the USA team with 21:16 in the final of the World Championship in China. Dusan Domovic-Bulut has been pronounced the tournament's best player.

The final match in Guangzhou was very hard and its outcome uncertain, but Deusan Domovic-Bulut scored a three-point shot and made Serbia the world champion. The Serbian team includes Dejan Majstorovic, Marko Zdero and Marko Savic.

On their road to the final, Serbia won against Italy (16:13), New Zealand (20:17), Qatar (21:16) and Russia (21:14), Netherlands (quarter-final, 22:10) and Spain (semi-final, 17:13).

Slovenia placed third by winning against Spain with 17:16.

This is Serbia's second gold medal at the world championship, after the one won in Athens in 2012.
