Voluntary pension insurance paid by more than 200,000 citizens of Serbia - average monthly amount of tax is 1,900 RSD

- Voluntary pension insurance is paid by more than 200,000 citizens of Serbia, and average monthly amount of the tax on that basis is 1,900 RSD - said the CEO of the Social Security Institute, Zoran Panović.

Panović says that the voluntary pension insurance does not need to be paid every month and that the paid amounts do not need to be the same every month.

- It is important for the citizens to know that it is not necessary that they pay the tax by themselves and that anyone can do that for them - said Panović and added that the funds paid into voluntary pension fund could not be withdrawn before the user was 53.

Panović added that about 50,000 citizens joined voluntary pension funds after the collective contracts were signed with about 250 employers.
