Postal company to invest 3.76 billion RSD in development - investments in cable-distribution system and Internet in amount of about 409m RSD

Public company "PTT Srbije" plans to realize profit of about 2 billion RSD in 2008 and to invest 3.76 billion RSD in development - said Chief Executive Goran Ćirić.

- The priorities are investments in main postal centers in Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad, in order to be modernized and to shorten time for reception and delivey of mail and packages - said Ćirić and announced that the postal company would introduce new services in 2008, such as express mail service (EMS), sending of group packages in Serbia and business windows for large users.

The postal company also plans to start providing services of digital television, to increase the cable Internet bandwidth and to expand the network, and total investments in cable-distributive system and Internet will amount to about 409m RSD.
