Perutnina Ptuj made a pure profit of EUR 92.000 last year, the company reported. The Ptuj Group ended 2015 with a considerably lower net profit than in 2014, when it amounted to nearly EUR 6 million. It was nevertheless much better than in 2013, when they incurred a net loss of EUR 34 million.

The new management of Perutnina, appointed by the new owner, SIJ, says that the group, regardless of the price pressure, managed to maintain the high level of turnover, mostly due to increased sales in Slovenia and a larger export to foreign markets in which the group doesn't own offices.

The group had revenues of EUR 247 million last year, 4% less than in 2014, the regional media report.

Perutnina made EUR 22.8 million of EBITDA last year, 13% less than in 2014.

The main reasons are decreased sales in Serbia, where a drop of 10.5% was recorded, as well is in Croatia, where the sales dropped by 8%, as well as for lower sales prices in the markets of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the company reported.
