Deposit Insurance Agency looking for valuer of non-performing receivables

The Deposit Insurance Agency of Serbia placed a call today for the submission of letters of intent for the selection of a local consulting company for the evaluation of non-performing receivables and security instruments.


The deadline for the submission of letters of intent is October 24. The chosen consulting company will be hired in the period from November 2016 till April 2017.

This public procurement procedure is a part of the deposit insurance system support project, for which the international Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved a loan of EUR 145.3 million to Serbia.

The project aims to strengthen financial and institutional capacities of the Deposit Insurance Agency, in order to enable it to fulfill its obligations in the area of deposit insurance and the restructuring of banks and influence the stability of Serbia's financial system.

The Agency is currently supervising bankruptcy procedures in 20 banks.
