Bridge across Ada to be built by consortium "Porr Technobau und Umwelt SCT d.d. und DSD Bruckenbau" - works worth 147m EUR

The bridge across Ade Ciganlija will be built by consortium "Porr Technobau und Umwelt SCT d.d. und DSD Bruckenbau". This Austrian-Slovenian group was better on the tender than renowned "Strabag" by offering the most favorable price of 146,997,723.52 EUR.

It turned out that grandiose new symbol of Belgrade, which will be twice as high as "Beograđanka", costs much more than it was initially estimated (80-90m EUR). In spite of high amount, city officials will not give up, and the loan approved by European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development will be repaid by the citizens of Belgrade.

The results of the tender have not been announced yet, although it was supposed to be done in December, so that the Directorate for Building Land, which invited international building companies to compete, did not want to comment on aforementioned figure before offical announcement of the winner, that is, confirmation from the bank.

In addition to the warning that every postponement of commencement of works will increase the price, city officials did not give any precise answer about what is the exact price of the bridge across the Sava, concerning the fact that the amounts that have been mentioned in the past two months range between 120 and 160m EUR.
