"Alliance One Tobacco" purchased 3,000 tons of tobacco in 2007 - negotiations with Serbian manufacturers for year 2008 in progress

Company "Alliance One Tobacco" announced yesterday (February 26, 2008) that it had increased purchase of tobacco from manufacturers in Serbia in 2007 to 3,000 tons, which represents 35% of total production.

People from that company announced that they had started negotiations about production in 2008.

From total of 1,200 tobacco manufacturers with which "Alliance One Tobacco" cooperates, sarađuje, 2,400 tons of tobacco of type "virginia", 520 tons of "berly tobacco" and 170 tons of oriental tobaccoes were procured.
