Banatski Dvor underground storage ready for winter – Active capacity 450 million cubic meters of gas

The Banatski Dvor underground gas storage is ready for the upcoming winter, reported Gazprom following the meeting of the chairman of the Managing Committee of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, and the general manager of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic.


As stated, shortly before the autumn/winter season started, the gas had been pressurized in Banatski Dvor, whose active capacity is 450 million cubic meters of gas.

– This is an added guarantee that the upcoming heating season in the Balkans region will be completed successfully – the report says.

Perspectives of development of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting, and there was also talk on the delivery of Russian gas and its underground storing in Serbia.

Gazprom owns 51% of Banatski Dvor and Srbijagas owns 49%. The maximum delivery capacity is five million cubic meters a day.
