New tender for Lumber industry "Sloga" in March

Lumber industry "Sloga" from Vladičin Han, which deals with production of school and office furniture, will be offered for sale on the second tender at the beginning of March.

That company was already privatized when the Consortium of entrepreneurs led by Michael Miller from USA bought it, but that contract, due to unfulfilled obligations, was cancelled by the Privatization Agency.

- We expect from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development to approve social program for 150 workers. Our aim is to reduce administration in the company with total of 305 workers and to provide adequate strategic partner in that way - said the acting director of "Sloga", Nikola Stoiljković. He pointed out that some companies from Slovenia had expressed readiness to become the new owner of "Sloga".
