Belgrade-based company "Europark" is the new owner of company "Kruševacput" after three-month off-stock exchange sale of the majority package of stocks
of the Kruševac's road maintenance company.
- The new owner gave about 10m EUR,
that is, 125 EUR per stock, for 97% of capital of "Kruševacput" - said the
president of the Supervisory Board of "Kruševacput", Marjan Milojević.
He specified that "Europark" had bought 28% of stocks from "Borovica transport put", as well as about 69% of stocks from minor stockholders, current and former workers of that company.
- The money from sale is paid to the accounts of stockholders and we will schedule a meeting and Assembly of companies these days and verify new ownership structure. With this transaction, the doubts of Kruševacput's workers are finally ended - said Milojević.
He reminded that, when the stock exchange sale of stocks of "Kruševacput" had started in 2007, somebody had bought two stocks and increased their price to 38,400 RSD, and later, at the moment of the forming of consortium, another two stocks had been bought at 20% lower price, so that the value of the stocks of that company had stayed at the level of 31,000 RSD.
- That price was much too high for the potential buyers, so that, with the written consent from stockholders, we started transforming stocks into shares, so that "Kruševacput" was sold to "Europark" as the most favorable bidder - Milojević explained.
