Average salary in Serbia in August reduced to RSD 45,286

The average net salary in Serbia in August 2016 amounted to RSD 45,286 and was lower by 2.1% than in July in nominal terms and by 3% in real terms, reported the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia yesterday.

Compared to August 2015, the average salary is higher by 1.5% in nominal terms and by 0.3% in real terms.

The average gross salary in August amounted to RSD 62,474, which is lower by 1.9% compared to July in nominal terms and by 2.8% in real terms. Compared to August 2015, it was higher by 1.5% in nominal terms and by 0.3% in real terms.

In the first eight months of 2016, the average net salary was higher by 3.6% in nominal terms and by 2.6% in real terms compared to the same period of 2015, and the average gross salary increased by the same amount.
