Tourist offer of Serbia at trade fair in Milan

- Tourist Organization of Serbia and Tourist Organization of Belgrade will represent their offers at International Tourism Fair in Milan between February 21 and 24 - these two organizations announced yesterday (February 20, 2008).

Other exhibitors on the stand of Serbia’s tourism are Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, Tourist-Information Center of Novi Sad, Archeological site Viminacium, Public Company “Serbian Railways” and tourist agency "Inertours".

Italian tourist market will be represented the whole tourist offer of Serbia with special emphasis on the tourist offers of Belgrade and Novi Sad, as well as on cultural heritance – project "By the roads of Roman emperors”, which will be realized by Tourist Organization of Serbia in association with the Ministry of Culture of Serbia.

The talks with Italian representatives of media and travel agencies, which are interested in including tourist offer of Serbia in their programs, will be organized during the fair.

Last year, Italian tourists had 76,196 overnight stays in Serbia, which is 28% more than in 2006.

The last-year trade fair in Milan gathered more than 5,000 exhibitors from 122 countries, about 150,000 visitors, 100,000 of whom were business visitors.
