The chairman of the Managing Board of Intracom Telecom, Ahmed Mohamed, said while talking to the president of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, on Wednesday, September 21, that the company planned to expand its operations in Serbia.

As the president`s Office for Media Relations reported, Mohamed pointed out that Serbia was an inevitable factor in the realization of large regional infrastructural projects, in which his company was interested.

He thanked President Nikolic for facilitating the access to the Serbian market for foreign companies willing to do business in Serbia and estimated that it was the best way to enable new investments in Serbia and develop the local economy.

Nikolic said that Serbia had become a fertile ground for investors, especially due to the fact that it had open access to all important world markets.

– Although our country is still underdeveloped in information technologies, the situation has been changing for the better in the past years and Serbia is beginning to catch up with the world. This is precisely why projects that might help our top IT experts stay and work in Serbia are important to us – Nikolic said.

Intracom Telecom operates in 72 countries and has subsidiaries in 20 countries, including Serbia
