Serbia and India agreed on text of program for cooperation in field of science and technology

- The Minister of Science of Serbia, Ana Pešikan, and the Minister of Science and Technology of India, Kapil Sibal, agreed today in New Delhi on the text of the Program for cooperation between Serbia and India in field of science and technology in the period between 2008 and 2010 - Serbian Ministry of Science announced.

The program will be signed after it is adopted in the Government of Serbia. Other aspects of support of Indian authorized ministry to Serbian science were also discussed at the meeting.

The delegation of Serbia, led by Ana Pešikan, is in the official visit to the Ministry of Science and Technology of India, and the meeting they had passed in very amicable atmosphere.

During the visit, our delegation went to see the Institute for Genetic Researches and Integrative Biology and Indian National Science Academy. On that occasion, the first steps towards future cooperation with Serbian Academy of Sciences were taken.

The delegation of Serbia will also visit significant research institutions in New Delhi and Bangalor.
