As a member of the Serbian delegation to France, headed by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Cadez pointed out at the business conference that Serbia offered its potential French partners a business and investment climate more favorable than ever before, the CCIS reported.

According to him, Serbian companies have increased their capacities and become reliable suppliers to investors and buyers of Serbian products in France.

While presenting the potential of the sectors jointly marked as the most promising ones for enhancing the cooperation, Cadez emphasized that the agricultural and food industry of Serbia was competitive and ready to meet the high standards of French consumers and become a partner to French companies.

He emphasized that the Serbian agribusiness had a strong base of raw materials, that it implemented modern technologies, honored the European quality standards and safety systems and expanded its offer.

There is potential for cooperation, according to the president of the CCIS, in energy and environmental protection, especially in renewable energy sources, which French companies have already shown interest in.

As he pointed out, half of the 20 largest investment projects in Serbia were realized in the automotive industry, where there’s still a lot of room for investments, but also for employing Serbian suppliers. The automotive industry chains consists of around 200 companies, component suppliers with high standards and certified systems in line with world standards, which meet the requirements related to infrastructure, technology and employees, Cadez said.

There’s room for cooperation in infrastructure as well, and the textile industry also provides considerable opportunities.
