Sloboda Cacak building new hall worth EUR 10 million – Jobs for additional 150 workers

The Cacak-based army equipment producer Sloboda invested EUR 10 million in the construction of a new 5,000 m2 hall and the procurement of equipment in order to increase the scope and safety of its production, announced the mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic, today.

He took a tour of the construction site of Sloboda's new production hall, where the works are being performed by companies from Cacak. The works should be completed by late October.

The management of Sloboda announced that those projects would enable the employment of an additional 150 workers.

Sloboda produces over 400 types of army industry products, the most famous of which is air defense ammunition. Around 90% of the products are exported, and Sloboda's foreign contracts currently amount to USD 150 million. The company employs 1,900 workers.
