Telenor celebrates 10 years in Serbia – Over EUR 445 million invested since 2006

Telenor has celebrated its first decade of operations in Serbia. The company is the largest individual investor in Serbia, and has invested more than EUR 445 million in developing infrastructure and services in ten years.

In the past two years, Telenor has covered the territory of Serbia with a fast mobile internet network, and its clients have experienced all the befits of the 4G network. The coverage is expanding rapidly and the 4G signal will be available to around 50% of Serbia's population by the end of 2016.

The company has introduced digital services to the Serbian market, and, in 2014, Telenor Bank was opened, the first online bank in the region, which now has more than 200,000 clients.

Today, ten years later, our vision is the complete digitalization of society and finding new solutions which make life easier.
