New agreements between Serbia and Ukraine regarding transport soon

It is expected that Serbia and Ukraine will reach an agreement in the area of air transport in the period ahead, as well as two agreements regarding water transport, whose preparation has entered the final stage, it was announced by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure on Wednesday, September 14.

This was said on the occasion of the meeting between Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and the ambassador of Ukraine, Oleksandr Aleksandrovych.

As stated, there was talk at the meeting about the cooperation between the two countries in the area of water and air transport, and the minister and the ambassador agreed that there was room for improving the bilateral cooperation in the area of transport, especially in air, water and rail transport.

Aleksandrovych thanked the deputy prime minister and Air Serbia for introducing direct Kiev flights and pointed out that it would contribute to the cooperation of the two countries.

There was also talk about the cooperation within the activities of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, presided by Serbia in the second half of 2016, the announcement concludes.
