Two local companies will build new facilities in the Sepak Industrial Zone in Loznica, eKapija learns.

As Nikola Dragicevic, the director of the PE Grad, says for our portal, the companies in question are Natura Trade and Vema-in.

– Natura Trade, which produces cardboard packaging, has bought 1.7 ha, and Vema-in, which produces plastic packaging, has bought 0.31 ha. The land has been sold at EUR 7.2 per square meter. Natura Trade will be working with a foreign partner – our interviewee clarifies.

The assistant of the mayor of Loznica for economic development and investments, Dejan Stalovic, says for eKapija that it is expected that the agreement will be signed soon, and that up to 100 people might be employed.

– Of course, it all depends on the capacities of the future facilities. The investors themselves don't have exact data yet, but we believe that there will be at least 50 new jobs, maybe even 100 – our interviewee adds.

The ad for the sale of land in the industrial zone in Loznica expired in mid-August, and Stalovic says that, due to investors' interest, it will be placed again.

– We have noticed that the interest in the Sepak zone is increasing, especially among local companies. The works on communal equipping are intensive, a street is being paved, and in the months ahead, the changes to the Detailed Regulation Plan will be completed. We are doing all this in order to create even better conditions.

Foreigners are interested in investing in Loznica as well, although no concrete agreements have been announced yet.

– We've had meetings with several companies from Germany, presented what we have to offer and put our project teams at their disposal. They were satisfied, but there have been no concrete agreements – Stalovic says candidly.

Dragicevic says that they have received letters of intent from other investors as well and that the land at Sepak will surely be offered again.

The ad will be placed in the local media and on the City's website.
