Final negotiations between "Zastava Arms" and "Remington" about this-year export of arms to USA

Today (February 18, 2008), the managements of "Zastava Arms" and "Remington" are starting final, two-day talks about quantities and dynamics of this-year deliveries of Zastava’s hunting and sports arms and arms for personal protection to the US market.

At the recent Arms Fair in Las Vegas, the representatives of "Zastava Arms" and "Remington" have already agreed to offer 20,000 Zastava’s hunting carbines, as well as certain number of small-caliber rifles and guns, worth total of about 3m USD, to the buyers in America in 2008. People from the Kragujevac factory say that they expect that the agreement they reached with the management of Remington in Las Vegas will be verified during this-year final negotiations.

By the way, Zastava Arms has already signed contract on export of military (infantry), hunting, sports arms and arms for personal protection (pistols and revolvers) worth nearly 30m USD. At the Fair in Las Vegas, Kragujevac-based factory has resumed cooperation with former business partners from Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and some other countries.
