"Tender SA", major stockholder in "Pupin telecom" - implementation of projects worth 800m EUR in Serbia in 2008

Private Romanian company "Tender SA" has announced that, after recent procurement of nearly 25% of stocks of Serbian "Pupin telecom", it became the largest stockholder in that holding company, which is made of five companies specialized for supply of telephone equipment and services.

- We are still buying stocks of "Pupin telecom" and we intend to participate in increase in capital by 2m EUR - said the owner of group "Tender SA", Ovidiu Tender. - This market has great potential in the close future, as well as on mid-term and long-term basis. The plan is that the projects worth 800m EUR are implemented in Serbia in 2008 - said Tender.

Romanian Agency announced that holding company "Pupin telecom" owned 44% of joint project with "Alcatel-Lucent" named "Alcatel Pupin Jugoslavija", and that it was specialized for overground digital switchboards, mobile telephony systems, broadcasting systems, IP network equipment and radio relays.
