Income of "Telenor" in 2007 - 365m EUR

In the last quarter of 2007, "Telenor" registered incomes in amount of 7.3 billion RSD (92.47m EUR), which is 30% more than in the same period in 2006. Number of users has been increased by 83,000, which means that total number of users on the last day of 2007 was about 2,924,000. This refers only to those users who continuously generated income during three months, which is a stricter method of calculation. "Telenor's" share of activated SIM cards in the market is 40%.

- Total annual income of company "Telenor" in 2007 amounts to more than 29 billion RSD, that is, 365m EUR. Growth of incomes fits our expectations from the beginning of the year in spite of the changes on the market caused by the arrival of the third operator. We can proudly say that we have 500,000 new subscribers in 2007, that is, nearly 700,000 since we started to work on September 1st, 2006. Investment in the network, on annual basis, amounted to 6.8 billion RSD, that is, 85m EUR - said Gabor Kočiš, Executive Financial Manager of "Telenor".

At global level, with 30m new subscribers in 2007, "Telenor" is now the seventh largest mobile operator in the world, with total of 143m mobile subscribers.
