Banja Luka's Balkan Investment Bank offers services of direct clearing with Serbia

In accordance with the Agreement on clearing of international payments, which was signed by central banks of Serbia, BiH and Montenegro in September 2007, Banja Luka-based Balkan Investment Bank has recently introduced the service of direct giro-clearing with Serbia.
- With the agreement that was signed by the central banks, the platform for clearing settlement of international payments between BiH and Serbia has become operative and , in addition to banks from Serbia, Balkan Investment Bank, as one of the first banks in BiH that signed contract with Central Bank of BiH (CBBiH), has joined prior foreign currency clearing.
This project of the National Bank of Serbia and CBBiH is very important to the clients of the bank who will now be able to carry out transfer of funds to the banks in Serbia much quicker and with smaller costs, as well as transfers from Serbia for the users of services of Balkan Investment Bank.
In its statement, the bank points out that, with the applicaton of this agreement, the users will get much more efficient and cheaper service, which means that all orders submitted and processed before 11 AM will be realized immediately.
The orderer of the transfer will be paying smaller fees for the services than before, and the banks that signed this agreement obliged not to charge the cash inflow.
New method of payment is applied only to the transfers in euros.
