Larger procurements soon on portal of Administration for Public Procurements

According to the Draft Law on public procurements, larger public procurements will be advertised in the Official Bulletin of Serbia and on the portal of the Administration for Public Procurements.

According to the law, the obligation of the orderers is to advertise public procurements in one daily newspaper. In the future, that will not be applied to the procurements of goods and services worth more than 5m RSD and procurements of works worth more than 20m RSD.

- With the introduction of the specialized portal for public procurements, all advertising would be at one place, and costs would be significantly reduced because such advertising would be for free, while the estimated annual costs of advertising in daily newspapers in Serbia amount to about 2m EUR - says the CEO of the Administration for Public Procurements, Predrag Jovanović, and adds that the portal will become an efficient instrument of the Administration for public procurements for examination and control of regularity in the public procurement procedures.
