UniCredit and Banca Intesa to approve loans for construction of "Galenika's" factory of solid pharmaceutical products

Company "Galenika" signed the contract yesterday (February 12, 2008) on crediting of construction of the factory of solid pharmaceutical products, wort 46m EUR, with UniCredit bank and Banca Intesa.

At the end of the last year, "Galenika" signed the contract on construction of new factory with Italian company "IMA Italy" as the contractor.

That factory will be at 9,000 square meters, it will have capacity of 2.1 billion pills a year and it will meet the highest European and world standards in pharmaceutical industry.

The deadline for completion of works is 23 months from the moment the contract is signed.

Construction of the unit for production of cephalospore products was commenced in 1991 at the place where the aforementioned factory is going to be built, but the works were not finished, so that the purpose of land has now been changed.
