Sales of bottled waters increased by 14%

- Manufacturers of natural mineral and spring waters in Serbia registered the growth of sales in 2007 by 14%, that is, by 81.1m liters - the Association of the industry of mineral waters of Serbia announced.

During 2007, 651.3m liters of bottled waters were sold in the country and abroad. The major share in the sales, 30%, had company "Knjaz Miloš" from Aranđelovac. Large percentage of participation in the sales had companies "BB Minaqua" from Novi Sad - 21%, "Voda Vrnjci" from Vrnjačka Banja - 12%, while "Vlasinska rosa" and "Heba" participated with 8% and 7%, respectively. Sales of bottled waters in Serbia grew by 17%, to 389.7m liters.

Export of natural mineral and spring waters amounted to more than 62m liters, which is the increase by about 17m liters in comparison with year 2006. At the same time, sales of non-carbonated waters grew by 21% and amounted to 226.6m liters.
