Siemens makes charger for various makes of electric buses

The company has installed two charging terminals of 300 kW of capacity in Hamburg, as well as two charging stations. The stations can provide enough energy for the buses to work all day, and the charging takes only about six minutes.
The charging process has been brought in line with international standards on which the charging system for e-buses is founded.
The open standards enable vehicles made by different manufacturers to use the same charging system. This solution enables operators to choose their e-buses independently, as the charging infrastructure guarantees their interoperability.
The standard for charging electric private cars was established in 2013, but this public transport issue wasn't solved until now, since each e-bus manufacturer was developing its own charging system.
