Gorenje net profit grows to EUR 2.1 million in first half of 2016

Sales income of the Slovenian home appliances producer Gorenje grew to EUR 581.3 million in the first half of 2016, which is an increase of 4.2% relative to the first half of 2015.

The company's net profit reached EUR 2.1 million, after a loss of EUR 6.9 million in the first half of 2015.

The EBIT in the first half of 2016 amounted to EUR 16.7 million, relative to EUR 10.7 million from the same period last year.

The most recent results show that Gorenje continues down the road of recovery, following last year's net loss of EUR 8 million and the drop of sales income by 2.3%.
