The Serbian Commission for Securities authorised proposals made by the Italian firm "Serbia" for take-over of shares belonging to Belgrade hotels 'Moskva' and 'Balkan'. For the purchase, a guarantee of 29% minimum and 51% maximum was given for 4 million EUR.

"Serbia" offered one million euros for the acquisition of 'Balkan' and is prepared to purchase a minimum of 28% and a maximum of 51% of shares of that hotel.

According to unofficial information, the owners of the firm "Serbia" are businessmen from Serbia. The most frequently mentioned name is Milan Beka, but he denies involvement.
