Plastika Skaza giving up on investments in Serbia – Workforce no longer significantly cheaper than in Slovenia

Velenje's Plastika Skaza is putting off investments in Serbia for the time being, Dnevnik writes, as reported by the regional portal Seebiz.

As reported, the workforce in Serbia is no longer significantly cheaper than in Slovenia, which is why they won't start the production in Serbia next year either.

By the way, the Slovenian company intended to use the factory in Serbia to supply the Russian market.

Although they won't be expanding to the Russian market for now, their plans for 2020 haven't changed. They are working on significantly increasing their presence in the Western Europe markets, where they already have 660 sales outlets.

They indent to make EUR 100 million in total income, of which a fifth through their own brands, and the rest with five to seven strong partners.

Last year, they made half a million euros in income through the sale of their own brands, and this year, the number should reach EUR 2.2 million.
