Cadez visited Tirana and Durres within the preparations for organizing the Serbia-Albania business forum, to be held in Nis on October 14 within the meetings between the prime ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama, on which occasion the joint chamber of Albanian and Serbian businessmen, headquartered in Tirana, will officially open.
– There are almost no areas in which these business communities couldn't cooperate, and we especially focused on concrete investment possibilities in agribusiness and tourism in our talks with Prime Minister Rama – Cadez says.
Large potential for cooperation through trade, investments, or joint projects has also been recognized, according to Cadez, in the metal, chemical, mechanical, wood processing and construction industries, which provide significant opportunities for Serbian planning and construction companies to get involved in large projects which Albania is planning to realize in the period ahead, the announcement adds.
– If a highway or a railway from Nis over Pristina and Tirana to Durres is being built, with the aim of connecting the Western Balkans countries infrastructurally, which will be supported financially by the European union, it's an opportunity to involve our companies to participate jointly, organized in consortiums, in tenders for these structures – Cadez points out.
He notes that this is also the goal of the Chamber's investment forum as a regional platform founded withing the Berlin Process, whose activities have been presented to Prime Minister Rama, together with the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, Safet Grdzaliu.
