ALFA: Alfa Plam reported RSD 251.6m in 1H16 net profit, down 28% y/y

Alfa Plam (ALFA), solid fuel devices manufacturer, reported RSD 251.7m in 1H 2016 net profit, down 28.2%, partly due to an increase of cost of material.
Operating profit was also reduced by 21.5% y/y to RSD 231.6m. The company's sales in the period arrived at RSD 2.6bn, which is up by 27.7% y/y, due to the expansion on both domestic and foreign market (increase of 25.9% and 28.5%, respectively). Production in the period January-June has increased 23.9% to RSD 3.4bn, while number of production units jumped 16% in the same period.
