"Blic" declared CEO of Footwear "Pavle" the best entrepreneur in 2007

Within the scope of the campaign organized by "Blic" and Banca Intesa, the CEO of company Footwear "Pavle" from Bela Palanka, Srđan Pavlović, has been declared the best entrepreneur in 2007.

The CEO of that company, which produces kids footwear and has 116 workers, got the award in amount of 30,000 EUR, which will be invested in modernization of business. Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Božidar Đelić, said on that occasion that that campaign was the proof that Serbia was on its way to rehabilitation and he announced some additional measures for support to entrepreneurs.

- Government of Serbia will provide capital injection for the entrepreneurs from the budget, in amount of 0.5m - 5m EUR. That will make it possible for the enterprises to invest in their activities. In return, the state could get some share in the ownership, but it would not interfere in the work of the enterprises. The entrepreneur would later get a possibility to buy that share back from the state, under condition that he must pay the amount of the capital and income on that capital - said Đelić.
