Public discussion about Rule book for issuing licenses in field of wireless Internet and wireless fixed telephony

Public discussion about Rule book for issuing of licenses in field of wireless Internet and wireless fixed telephony has been opened, Ministry of Telecommunications and IT Society announced yesterday (January 30, 2008).

The Rule book defines terms of participation in auction for licenses for provision of services of wireless Internet and wireless fixed telephony.

The plan is that every region gets three licenses, except in Belgrade where only one license will be issued because a large share of the band has already been assigned before.

Draft rule book and electronic address for comments and suggestions can be found on the web site of the Ministry.

Public discussion about rule book will be ended with the roundtable that will be organized on Friday, February 15, in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
