– The National Employment Service hasn't erased those 132,970 people from the register, they have been employed instead. These are people that we know have found jobs – Vulin said on the occasion of his visit to the enterprise Rudnik at Gornji Milanovac.
He said that, thanks to the employments, the payments to the Disability and Pension Fund had increased and that RSD 9 billion more than planned had been paid to the pension fund, of which RSD 3.6 billion in July alone.
– These facts can't be manipulated with, this is the money paid to our funds and it shows that the economy is working, that what we call the entrepreneurial spirit is awaking – the minister said.
He said that 4,317 new business entities had been registered in 2016, an increase of 3%, and that there were 18,299 new businesses registered – small entrepreneurial endeavors, from hospitality services to car repair shops – an increase of 24%.
– Of course, not everyone can succeed, so around 10,000 have been erased from the Business Registers Agency, which is 39% less than in the same period last year. This means that our businesses are faring better, that our businessmen are more secure, that the environment is more favorable and open to new business endeavors – the minister emphasized.
