Company "Autočačak", the
exclusive distributor for sale of motor vehicles of Czech "Škoda" in
Serbia and Montenegro, sold 4,300 automobiles last year, about 900 more than in
2006.
The sales plan was exceeded by 30%, while the sales plan for year 2008 is much more ambitious.
The owner of "Autočačak", Milenko Kostić, says that only the percentage of "Škoda" vehicles in total number of
the automobiles sold in Czech Republic was larger than in Serbia.
"Autočačak"
has about 300 workers, while its daughter companies - in Krnjača, Kikinda, New
Belgrade and Čačak – have another 500 employees. Last year, new
retail-servicing centers were opened in Kragujevac, Vršac and Niš.
As far as Montenegro is concerned, there are showrooms in Podgorica, Bar and Tivat.
