"Delta Generali" increased insurance premium by 43%

"Delta Generali" insurance company increased insurance premium by 43% in 2007, so that total amount of the premium reached 6.3 billion RSD or about 80m EUR. With 51 offices in 39 towns of Serbia, "Delta Generali" covers 14% of the market - said general manager and President of the Administrative Board of "Delta Generali" insurance company, Nebojša Divljan, at the press conference yesterday (January 24, 2008).
Divljan said that the plans for year 2008 were that total premiums reach the amount of 100m EUR and that the companies be founded in Montenegro and Republic of Srpska.
- Last year we celebrated 175th anniversary and we distributed 4.5m stocks among the employees in our company. "Generali" and PPF group united their operations in central and east Europe last year and, thus, created an international group with 2.6 billion EUR worth of gross premiums and total of 9m clients - said Diego de Gienaro, deputy general manager of "Delta Generali" insurance company.
Nataša Marijanović, CEO and portfolio manager of "Delta Generali voluntary pension fund" expressed satisfaction with the results achieved in the first year of work, which they ended with the property worth 670m RSD and over 34,000 members.
