"Superior" from Velika Plana, the first domestic private selection station, made the experiments in 2007, in association with Greek company "Agromarket- hellas" in Ioannina, in the scope of which they planted tomato hybride "Marathon F1", the product of Serbian manufacturer.
As "Superior" explained, "Marathon F1" achieved excellent results - 30 kg per plant in indoor space. Other results of this experiment showed that "Marathon F1" was tomato with one of the largest crops in the world. Namely, on other locations in Greece, crop amounted to 16 kg per plant, which is 40 kg per square meter.
Because of such results, in association with Greek company, the company intends to exhibit its products at trade fair "Agrotica" in Salonika at the beginning of February 2008. That would open door for "Serbian tomato", so that, in addition to former republics of SFRY, Greece would also get opportunity to meet our brand.
"Marathon F1" is high and very exuberant tomato hybride with large, juicy and tasteful fruits of beef type whose average weight is 250 g.
