On Tuesday, July 19, thanks to the flight of Wizz Air from Basel, the Nis Constantine the Great Airport managed to break its 2015 record regarding the number of passengers in a little over six months. As much as 36,295 passengers have traveled through the Nis Airport since the beginning of the year, which is 37 passengers more than the total number of passengers in 2015.

By the way, the airport's management has announced earlier that it expects that around 120,000 passengers will have traveled through the Nis Airport by the end of the year on one of its 9 lines, which will all be active starting on November 1, reports Fly from Nis.

Let us remind that Wizz Air has regular routes to Basel and Malmö from the Nis Airport, and starting on August 1 and August 20, it will introduce lines to new destinations, Memmingen, Eindhoven and Dortmund.

Ryanair, the biggest low-cost airline company, will have its first flight to Berlin on September 4 and it will introduce flights to Düsseldorf (Weeze), Bratislava and Milan (Bergamo) in its winter flight schedule.
