"Generali" and PPF united forces - Italian company has majority share of 51% in Holding "Generali PPF"

Insurance company "Generali", which is also present in Serbia, will appear on the market of central and east Europe in January, together with pension fund PPF.

According to the announcement of these companies, "Generali" and PPF have united their operations in central and east Europe with the intention to become the most significant acter in the insurance sector in the region.

Company "Generali" has majority share of 51% in "Holding Generali PPF", while PPF owns 49%.

It is pointed out in the announcement that "Generali" is the third largest insurance company in Europe, while PPF is the most significant pension fund in Czech Republic.
