Bulgarian signed contract on gas pipeline "South Brook" with Russians, route through Serbia almost certain ?

Russia signed the agreement with Bulgaria yesterday (January 18) in Sofia on construction of gas pipeline "South Brook". Thus, gas will be transferred beneath the Black Sea, across Bulgaria and, most probably, across Serbia to the consumers in the West.

Unofficially, Democratic Party and Democratic Party of Serbia are very close to agree on signing the international contracts with European Union and Russia (gas projects + Petroleum Industry of Serbia - NIS).

Namely, Serbia could sign the Agreement on stabilization and association with EU very soon, as well as the agreement on stategic cooperation in field of energy with Russian Federation. Also, negotiations about abolishment of visas for EU will start on January 30.
