Palladio Finanziaria taking over the Slovenian company Cimos

The Italian fund Palladio Finanziaria has taken over the Slovenian company Cimos and will move the headquarters of its automotive operations to Kopar, the regional media report.
The consortium of the largest shareholders of Cimos has adopted a binding offer by the company Palladio Finanziaria, the Slovenian Bank Assets Management Company (BAMC) stated.
Nevertheless, a two-month deadline period has been granted, during which Palladio should convince the creditors, banks, suppliers and purchasers, that the contract should be signed. The deadline is September 9.
In case that the Italians are chosen, they will finance the purchase through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). In that case, Kopar will become their development center for the production of car parts.
