Direct flights from Belgrade to Beijing soon – Chinese airline company arriving to Serbia

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated on Thursday, July 14, that the Government had started talks, the day before, with a Chinese airline company, whose arrival to Serbia was expected soon. This will, as he said, lead to the opening of direct flights from Belgrade to Beijing.

— I can announce this as well, the talks started yesterday and a Chinese airline company is coming here soon. People of Belgrade will soon be able to travel directly to Beijing – announced Vucic at a conference at the Government of Serbia and added that Serbia would most probably be the first one in the region regarding that as well.

He reminded that a Beijing-Zagreb route had been announced, but that he hoped that the route from Belgrade to Beijing would be introduced before that.

— But those are only my hopes and wishes. I’ll fight for it – Vucic said.

He also reminded of Air Serbia’s direct flights to New York and noted that there were 176 passengers on the flight to New York and 238 returning to Belgrade that day.
