85% more entrepreneurial businesses opened in Serbia in June 2016

As it was pointed out, the number of deregistered businesses has been reduced by 38%.
Thanks to the Law on Inspection Supervision, whose partial enforcement started in mid-2015 by controlling unregistered entities, and whose full enforcement started at the end of April 2016 towards all business entities, the conditions have been created for fighting gray economy and unfair competition, increasing citizen safety and securing a safer environment for entrepreneurs, the announcement says.
The new law, according to the estimate by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, has established a balance between preventive and punitive measures and placed emphasis on the responsibility of all those who participate in creating an efficient business environment, while at the same time focusing the supervision of its inspection authorities on high-risk entities, especially those unregistered.
Since July 30, 2015, the supervision over unregistered entities has been a responsibility of all inspection authorities, thanks to which, according to the statistics, illegal employment has decreased by 5%.
