Serbia climbs to the 75th place of the World Economic Forum's networked readiness index



In 2014, Serbia placed 80th, and a year earlier it placed 87th.
According to the index of availability of the latest technologies, Serbia placed 107th, based on the use of social networks it placed 68th, and based on the number of individuals using the internet it placed 65th.
The 289 pages long Global Information Technology Report 2016 estimates the countries' capacities for the use of ICT for economic growth and well-being, and Singapore, Finland and Sweden have proven to be the leading countries of the world regarding networked readiness this year as well.
The
USA, Singapore, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel are
seeing the biggest economic benefits from investing in digital
innovations, according to the report, which also shows that it's
individuals, rather than businesses or governments, who stand at the
forefront of the digital revolution.
Haiti, Burundi and Chad placed last on the list.
